The return of races 🏅

We are getting closer and closer to the come back of races 🎉

There are lots of new runners since the pandemic that probably haven’t thought about entering a race especially with restrictions. 🏃🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

We enjoyed a few races in the summer with these restrictions in place (starting in predicted time groups) and they really didn’t change the buzz or atmosphere of it whatsoever. 🥳🥳

Why do we recommend entering a race?

🏅Racing is a great way to keep track of your OWN personal progress.

Running a race isn’t about what position you get or comparing yourself with anyone else, it is about your personal journey.

We love to see our own progress from the beginning and to the end of a racing year. We write down our times in our diaries of each race so that we can clearly see the progress along the way.

🏅Support!

The cheering and encouragement from other runners who understand the struggle is so rewarding.

You may be surprised but we don’t get very competitive with each other. Our relationship is more supportive than competitive. We have strengths in different areas so encouraging and believing in each other is so important.

🏅Meeting other runners

We can honestly say we have met some INCREDIBLE people at races. We are still in contact with so many now, we still support each other’s journeys and meet up at other races.

Some of our favourite races have been those we struggled but found reassurance and friendship in another runner.

*Shout out to you wonderful humans, we hope to see lots of you soon! 💙*

🏅The Bling

Believe us, it becomes addictive!

🏅Adventure/ memories

Running around a new town, city or countryside. There is no better way to remember or see it than a race. We enter races further and further away every year 👟🎒

TAKE THE LEAP 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️ keep an eye on our stories to see which races we will be working towards 🥳🥳
