How can you start your week in the most positive way?

The people you interact with can hugely effect your mood and energy. Sometimes it is out of our control in a work environment but remember that YOUR ENERGY will effect others.
A friendly cashier, postman, doctor or optician can make such a huge difference to your mood when you have an unintentional positive meeting. 👥
💙 Exercise or Recovery?
Some like to start the week with a run to get early miles in, feeling a sense of accomplishment.
For others this is a rest day after Sunday’s long run. Remember that whatever you do is working towards your goals.
Recovery could be a hot Epsom salts bath, a sports massage or stretching, these techniques are as important as getting the miles in and for most essential to avoid injury. Listen to your body. 🛁🙌🏼
💙 Plans for the week
Life happens, we don’t always accomplish as much as we plan to. Training plans may have to be stripped back if our bodies aren’t happy.
Write down the things you know will make you feel satisfied and accomplished this week, it may be catching up with a friend you’re missing or getting something ticked off of that to do list 😬
Finally when it gets to the end of the week reflect on how that weeks gone 🤔🤩 We tend to jot it down on paper our successes, our challenges and how we overcame the challenges or what we learnt from them 🖊🗒
